Established in 1981, BCMH is a non-profit, Critical Access Hospital that serves Braxton and parts of Clay, Gilmer, Lewis, Nicholas and Webster counties.


As of July 1, 2007, BCMH is once again a community-based hospital that is vibrant and strong in helping to meet your health care needs. BCMH is the only hospital located in the county. We have highly skilled and experienced doctors and nurses. The hospital has extensive outpatient capabilities as well as inpatient services.
